Sanctuary, 9/23/1023
Dreamer: Rosetta
I found myself in a place with a village of 12 houses surrounding a massive and ancient rowan tree that felt like a friend, like Rel's friend Tree. It felt very comforting. Safe. Protected. But there was something lingering. A threat on the horizon. One I could not see, but could feel. It was still far away, but slowly encroaching.
Date: 09/23/2023 Where dream occured: Chimeron Interpretation included: Yes A figure approached me, a humanoid with a purple cloak. "The Guardians won't listen. They refuse to acknowledge the Truth. But maybe you will." A door opened in the middle of the village, with the following runes on the door   I was shoved through the door, and saw a castle in the distance. There were undead surrounding it. I felt a tug on my dagger, Faith, and heard the words "devour Soul". I felt another tug, this time on my Protect the Soul spell sash, but it holds as I was pulled back through Space to the clearing I was in initially. Instead of the purple cloaked figure in front of me, now I saw a short, light blue humanoid who was a bit over 3 feet tall, shaking his head in disapproval. "I told them not to mess with things. They never listen." Interpretation: This was about Sanctuary, a demiplane that is a place for refugees to come and live after the various catastrophes, such as the ones that are all too common around the Realms, occur. The day after the dream I visited Sanctuary to help with a problem, and saw the runes from the dream. We fought something which was able to devour souls, and needed to use silver and hematite to recover them, as was done with the Soul Leech long ago (see Ways to Fight Bedlam; this would be why my dagger felt relevant, as it was forged for such a fight.) I do not exactly understand the statements from the beings at the beginning and the end. They seem to have involved a greater plot than our simple rescue mission. |
