05/19/1011 Pax Tharkus: Travelers passing through the Pax Tharkus region have reported various plant life getting up and moving around. There have also been several fires reported and while they are currently contained, residents fear a full blown forest fire will break out. Long time residents say they have never seen such an outbreak of fires during the spring rainy season and can't imagine where they are coming from. Travelers are advised to avoid the area until these fires can be extinguished. A few travelers stopping at taverns at the border on their way out of Pax Tharxus have even said they saw plants on fire and wandering around unharmed, but this has been widely dismissed as impossible.
