Rituals There are two rituals associated with each of the Primary Elements, one upon the Path of Cleansing and one upon the Path of Community. The KalKoRani have no Rituals associated with them. All Rituals require the assistance of Kal allied spirits � generally a circle of Munuko � in order to accomplish. They cannot be performed without such aid, as the Rituals influence the Spirit World as much if not more than the physical world. The Rituals associated with Ma are both the Ritual of Cleansing and the Ritual of Consecration. The Ritual of Cleansing is used to remove the influence of Taint from a subject, whether that subject be a person, place or thing. The Ritual of Consecration is used to create a True Temple to the Kal en Dral. The Rituals associated with To are both the Ritual of Seeking and the Ritual of Purpose. The Ritual of Seeking is a cleansing ritual. Its purpose is to actively find Bain spirits, Bain Temples, or Bain Gates. The Ritual of Purpose is a community ritual. Its purpose is to open the To-allied participant to the Time-Stream, allowing them to learn of tasks that may best aid the community. Seeing such things is hard on most people, as any �time� related information can be, so it takes a full circle to keep the individual from losing themselves. The Rituals associated with Ka are the Ritual of Purification and the Ritual of the Phoenix. The Ritual of Purification or Exorcism is a cleansing ritual. The Purpose of this Ritual is to draw out and destroy bain spirits from a person, area or thing. The Ritual of the Phoenix or Cauterization is a community ritual. The Purpose of this Ritual is to �Burn Out� a spirit, area, or thing until there is nothing else but ash, then allowing the rest of the wheel to renew the item from the ashes. The Rituals associated with Ko are the Ritual of the Cycle or ,b>the Ritual of Restoration. The Ritual of the Cycle or Last Rites is a cleansing ritual. The Purpose of this Ritual is to send a spirit onto the Cycle to be reborn again. This is generally only done if the spirit or creature has been terribly tainted or corrupted, and there is no other way to �save� it. Most creatures/spirits will �automatically� go back into the cycle. This is reserved for beings where it is a question. The Ritual of Restoration is a community ritual. The Purpose of this Ritual is to heal and strengthen an area weakened by a Bain Gate or Bain Temple so that it will not �rip� again. While each Ritual�s purpose remains unchanged, the way that purpose is accomplished can vary greatly depending upon the task to be accomplished, the people or spirits involved and the strength of the bonds involved. In other words, an area of great taint will be harder to cleanse than a area or thing with only a hint of taint. Using a full circle of bonded Kathrani with a strong set of Munuko will make the task of cleansing easier, and fairly straight-forward, while it may be a more difficult task for those not bonded, or a weaker circle.
