To the Realms,

This Saturday past, we have lost two good people of Creathorne, for all of our sakes.

The first was Natalia. She offered herself up to be the herald of Twilight Fae for a year and a day in order to not only find a way to close the Bedlam gate there, but also for all of the Realms adventurers to have a path home. I did not get a chance to know her, and I heard very few knew or acknowledged her gift until much later. She will not be forgotten.

The second was much more vocal.

Airavarri Nosetti, my cousin, threw himself into Bedlam, offering his life and magics to close the gate for good. He knew the price, he knew how bad Bedlam is. He knew that the Twilight Fae would be locked in a fight, forever, if we did not help. The Twilight Fae, as I understand it, can be great allies of ours, and I was unwilling to leave before we helped them.

I have known Airavarri for the near five centuries of my life. He will never be forgotten for that sacrifice either. What he did was such a great good, and as morbid as it sounds, a good ending for a good man. What he did brought his soul out of our own rebirthing cycle, and his loss is felt by many, no matter what they be: human, elf, Sheshawnii, fae, kitsune, or else. I know that there are those who refuse to admit that he is unable to return, but I have made my peace with that, and will mourn the way I know how.

Bedlam must be stopped. Those who know about Bedlam, about its strength, horrors, and its evil understand how bad it really is. How bad it is that its leaking back into Fae. I will help stop it from spreading, from growing, until my last breath.

I hope that you stand by my side in remembrance and to fight the Infinite Dark, and pray for your safety.

Airavarri's sacrifice shall not be forgotten.

Though he was lost in Bedlam, he was not consumed by the darkness. We did all we could. He will live on in the hearts and memories of all those who knew him and his light will always be with us.

Having been in Natalia's position this past year, I'm sure she'll be back no worse for wear.
