Tears of Aurora

Legand has it when Dalindanna died, Aurora was distraught at the loss of her daughter. In her sorrow, she wept. Her tears fell to earth and scattered through out the world. Some of the those tears eventually crystalized, leaving the essence of the Goddess of Light trapped within the stones.
Date: 1007 Accounts vary of what the tears can actually accomplish. The Church of Aurora maintains that such gifts from the Goddess are only to be used in times of greatest darkness, and even then they are not to be used lightly. |
