Prophecy to Destroy Nemesis

Cast at Tournaments of the Branch 2026

Ritual:
The four sat around a small ritual display. An obsidian mirror sits in the middle of the display with candles and elementally attuned gemstones pointing to the cardinal directions.

Kiira starts by creating 2 soul snare potions and uses them to ritually capture a fragment of Amawar's soul in a container. They then pour a potion of Magical Empowerment (Intervention) into the vessel with the soul fragment.

Then Amawar began to cast her seance spell and called up the Sentinels to hear her words. They answered. With them present she implored them to grant their intervention and protect those that were in the ritual. They agreed.

At that time Amawar began to weave all of her divinatory magic into a massive spell. She gives a nod to Phee who channeled her own Intervention into a dagger and ritually pierced through Nemesis' wards. At first it didn't work, but after some time she managed to punch a hole - a simple rift in the protections.

It was at this time that Amawar released her large divination spell peering through the rift created by Phee.

"Show to me what the heroes of the Realms must know to destroy the Demon Prince Nemesis."

Kara followed it up with her own Mage call to ensure the spell would be for the embetterment of the Realms as a whole.

In the vision the assembled people saw a knight with a holy weapon piercing the heart of Nemesis while another caster with a book invoked his truename. This was the banishment ritual. The vision then went black.

Amawar called to the Sentinels for divine aid. Several others echoed her call.

The vision continued and cleared to show the Sentinel of Wisdom. The figure spoke to the assembled party telling them that the path to destruction would not be easy, and would require sacrifice and concerted effort by the Heroes of the Realms. But it would be accomplishable within their lifetime. The path forward would be hard and complex, challenging and dangerous. They were to use spyglasses (magnifying glasses) like their champion once did to learn the way to destroy the demon prince.
