Current State of the Wraiths

Once the sand expires, she then pulls out a crystal orb and stares into it.

"Reveal to me the current status of the wraiths of the demon lord that we faced earlier today. It has been years since they have been seen and we must know about our enemy if we are to face them and succeed!"

With that she releases a vision spell. "Sentinels be with me and see what I see. Divine Aid!"

Amawar sees the following.

First, you see an outsider's view of three scenes, unfolding at once. In the first, you see yourself, along with other adventurers, watching from Kenkilit's church doors as Companion shoots at a Dark Wraith in the rain, while nearby, Elwin battles a Wraith in mage's robes. Under cover of the entryway, a Wraith with a mace in its belt leans over Kovaks' dead form, appearing to talk.

At the same time, a pair of Wraiths, one with a shield and one with a longsword, are tearing their way through a circle of people in grey robes, who one by one lose their chanting voices to their own deaths by sword.

Meanwhile, a single Wraith wielding a shining blue lance stalks the edges of what appears to be militia practice for a group of young warriors. They break formation from their drill and attempt untested defenses against the Wraith as it thrusts its sharp spear repeatedly into their ranks.

The scene fades and blurs, as you get a sense that time passes just slightly, to the present moment, after the wedding, while the guests pack their things and the kitchen staff wipe tables nearby. In the crystal you see that all six Wraiths have come together. They are someplace dark, obscured by physical darkness overlaid with some dour effect.

The Wraith with the dagger stands aside the mace-wielding one. They both face the lance- and shield-bearing Wraiths, and the two pairs seem to be having a debate. The longsword Wraith stands off to the side, uninvolved. The archer stands closer to the argument, and appears to interject a comment at intervals.

Lance points accusingly at Dagger and Mace, and points emphatically offscreen. Dagger brandishes two fingers at Lance, and taps the back its own left hand, then points in an arc at all others assembled, then slices its arms from an X in front of it to open wide, in a move that often means "over."

Shield makes the palms-up extension of "what" emphatically at the others, points offscreen, then brings its wrists together as if shackled and shakes them sharply. Dagger brings its hands down in front, palms up, arms wide, and leans forward, as if making an irrefutable statement.

The Wraiths, as a group, stand still, as if considering.
