Place/Gathering Discovered: cache of notes in the Library Date: 1006 and forward Transcribed by: Iawen Penn From the last Wrake gathering (where Kiolin killed Rein with the god-slaying weapon), it was noted that Diskordia had quite literally done everything there is to do as far as Chaos goes, and wishes to be killed so her avatar can take her place (and consequently be named Diskordia, so we mortals don't have to worry about a name change). Twenaria swore a vow that if Diskordia (at that gathering) gave them the runes needed to make the god-slaying weapon, she would come back and kill Diskordia herself so her avatar could ascend. Diskordia held her to it, and Twen broke her promise by handing off the weapon to Kiolin when it was done. Since then, after January 1010 M.R., Diskordia has gotten meaner, more petty, and desperate ever since. With her three priests gone from the Realms (Hunwald, Lala, and Airavarri), and her own Champion (Rillian of Grimloch) unable to find any others, just carrying her sacred sword hilt (and he worships and champions a god of order, Tyr), is it any wonder that Diskordia is the way she is now? One ought to be wary of her, indeed... Nov 29th, 1010 M.R. ----- Surprisingly enough to Hunwald, the journey back to the Realms did not take quite as long as he was expecting. Rifik was kind enough to pick him up on a �land faring ship� and transport him back to Paradise. The whole affair seemed very strange to Hunwald, who had never seen a ship, but it was merely another weird event in the course of what seemed to be a very weird year. Rifik wanted some help in getting information from Diskordia about the gems that had appeared in the last few months. Why he was afraid to simply contact her himself was puzzling to Hunwald, but the ride back to Realms was very convenient so Rifik deserved some help in return. Back in Paradise, in his old room, the only question now was how to go about contacting Diskordia. The usual method of simply going to her tower and talking to the air seemed to be getting old. �Might as well try something new,� was how Hunwald�s thinking concluded. So, he sat down and wrote Diskordia a letter, asking about the gems and explaining what Rifik wanted to know. When he finished he handed the message off to an elf-mail messenger for delivery. The letter is detailed below: July 6th, 1006 M.R. Dear Diskordia, I have learned that since I had left for the western mountains, some gems have been discovered that allow the InsectaFae spirits to be planted within them, thus allowing the guardians to avoid dying this fall. Rifik is somewhat unwilling to speak to you and has instead asked me to do so. Apparently Luna has directed any detailed inquiries about the gems over to you, m�lady. The information that is desired is this; what happens if the Gems are used incorrectly? Where are the gems located? And, how many have survived the passage of time? If you do not wish for me to know such information, it might be interesting if you spoke to Rifik, Kovaks, or any of the people interested in these gems. Perhaps it is time for more people to have contact with you in order to dispel the fears that some seem to have. I remain at your command.
