ProclamationPROCLAMATION FROM HIS GRACE, DUKE OF FALLWINDIt is with a heavy heart that I scribe these commands. All debts are hereby erased, counted null and void. All property rights are similarly erased. As I cannot guarantee safety within my realm any longer, so too will I not allow you to choose to remain. We cannot resist these invaders, the so-called Voidbringers, in our fields & villages born of a time of peace. Their soldiers march on our lands, & unnatural rituals pervert the very fabric of our world. My keep is open to all who owe fealty to me within these walls we have stores for some time, soldiers to keep watch at night, and three exalted keepers of the void to foil the tricks of the invading forces. In addition, I am offering writs of assistance, Bearing my seal, to any who ask. These carried to neighboring duchies, may help you secure similar protection within their keeps should you have family or other reasons to seek shelter elsewhere. May the will of Revianah guide & protect us all. |
