Prologue

It all started with a bang. Sir Chan Ottokar threw the holy hand grenade into the maw of the evil god Rexan, putting the end to his reign. While it did kill Rexan, the explosion killed Sir Chan alongside 6 others. Chan, seeing those around him, used a tear of Aurora to sacrifice himself in order to save the others who had been killed. But while for many this would be the of their story, for us this was only the beginning.

A well meaning Page seanced an ancient enemy, giving them a hold onto this world. An intervention sent into the past undid victories once won, and Sir Chan was corrupted, forced to take on the title of The Champion. Feeling remorse for what she did, and vowing to fix her mistakes, Margaret sought a quest, to restore Sir Chan and right what was wronged. The Storyteller answered this call, offering a Ghost of a Chance to rewrite the story.

The quest succeeded, and Chan's soul was restored from Gaol as Amawar. But Rexan took advantage of this opportunity. A shard of his power escaped. He possessed The Storyteller, and began taking over his domain of Slumbertimeland, taking on the moniker of The Author.

This is his story, and this is how we're going to beat him.
