That could feed a lot of hungry people, just for slagging one person. Now, I'm not a violent person, but one guy taking a dirtnap for the good of so many others is just the right thing. So, I know this really nice spot on the docks near Folkestone. Let's meet to discuss things". City of Ivory 6- A few sign boards in the Merchant District have been reportedly defaced by having what appears to be a white bird's feather dipped in blood nail to them. High level members of the merchant's guild have whispered about a fist fight breaking out in the last Council Session which seems to be related. Lady Faelinn has denied punching anyone but has been quoted "If anyone else starts a fight in one of my meetings again, Aurora help me ..." before getting into a shouting match with one of the Templars assigned to another Council Member. 6b-Lands East of Ivory Townsfolk in remote towns have reported people going missing. One witness claims to have seen unnatural forms moving at night. Another witness said that no weapons seemed to affect the monsters that ran off with her younger brother and that weapon strikes felt like hitting solid stone. Chimeron 7-Nationwide intermittent protests declare Justari dead. Peasants argue that suffering would not be allowed by a just God. Protestors demand change and plan to strike if not seen by the gods. When a hero is sick or dies, there is Divine Intervention. �What about the rest of us?� #timeforchange Blackwood 8-Rumors of the Anti Monarchy Movement (AMM) are spreading. The AMM is allegedly forming a protest through the main street of Shalindar Keep. Some also are saying there is a possible labor strike at the Bacon mines over the ethical treatment of the "source" of the candied bacon. A woman named Korinna is quoted as saying "None of this would have happened if Dark had remained King." Corsica 9-Cutter McMain has reported an unusually large amount of translucent, boneless, tentacled sea creatures around the pirate island. Locals have suggested more rum and less swimming right now. The local magic guild has determined to study these strange creatures and how they are able to move without the apparent need for a skeletal structure. While on holiday,Sharti has suggested they are delicious when prepared correctly and avoid the poisonous glands. Chimeron 10-Members of the militia have expressed concerns over following a king that follows an evil god. �He worships the Beast and carries a sword called Soul Taker. What kind of message are we sending to our children?� Scholars in Ariland reveal a ritual to cleanse the sword, maintaining its power but removing the obligatory soul corruption from wielding it. Folkestone 11-The BC Guild has been seen hunting wild beasts threatening the countryside. One member allegedly stated, �You�ve gotta kill to eat.� While in the area, a competition was held to guess the meaning of the guild initials. Popular guesses were: Before Cadre, Bedlam Cain, and Banana Coconut. In unrelated news a number of locals on the wanted list were found in zombie-like trances, which made for an easy capture. Voraniss, port city of Mirador 12-Repairs are on their way in the city of Mirador after the attack from phantoms earlier this year. Townsfolk have been complaining of tools gone missing only to return days later. One worker goes as far as to say that a building in need or repairs would be repaired overnight, only to revert back to disarray a day later. Darkvale 13-Conspiracy theorists gather by the former home of Lord Chan. Rangers and local authorities are keeping a watch around the property. One onlooker commented �If the government weren�t trying to hide something, they would let us in. The truth is out there.� A few minor skirmishes have taken place between the guards and those demanding to find out whatever secrets lie beyond the gates of the old manor house. - UCCT 14-Janus allegedly traveled through time to "fix things". Strange memories and feelings of deja vu have increased following this alleged fix. A bartender at the event shrugged "they just cast magic willy nilly. It's no wonder we have so many strange events. Janus should be held accountable for whatever he broke". #lockhimup Misc 15-A wanderer claims to have survived an enemy assault on a kingdom north of Sothe. He continued to say that despite the King's effort to complete a ritual to stop these evil creatures the Princess swung open the gates and let countless boil covered beings into the city. Most citizens were caught unaware and only few survived the chaos that followed. Southern Wastes 16-The Bank of SW warns people of an increased number of identity theft cases. "We value your stuff and won't give it out without you passing every verification test. No, I won't tell you what they are. What kind of rube do you take me for?". The Bank argues that the only way to keep your stuff safe is to give it to Panther. Qua Taereth Nunna/Chimeron 17-Workers have been seen bringing in new furniture and food to the Western Flank Bar'n'; Scuttlebut has some speculating that a meeting is going to happen with the high mucky mucks. Makhta denies all knowledge. 18- Through the ghoul-guarded gateways of slumber, Past the wan-mooned abysses of night, I have lived o'er my lives without number. 19- Reports have been made of Asmodeus appearing in random locations and acting in uncharacteristic ways. An onlooker suggested "He's still evil and all, just different evil, you know. Avatars aren't unchanging monoliths. There's always time for growth." 20- There have been multiple reports of single Death Knights traveling across the countryside. Are they looking for something or someone. Hard to say. One had a red shirt and another had a blue shirt, so there must be at least two. Death Knight gang violence is not suspected. 21- Aaron Matthewson, alleged half-angel has been spotted in various parts of the Realms. "I really enjoy coming down from Keystone on High, and learning about mortals. The food and drink is wonderful. I also learned dancing from small people recently. So much to learn in this place.". Aaron had found a strange 12 sided figure which he left behind with some curious adventurers. Chimeron 22- Recently two Meerkats were spotted deep in discussion eating lunch. While the typical accusations of imposter began the conversation, it seems they both began to speculate as to which one was first in the timeline. Meerkat 1 suggested that he must be first since he had no memory of meeting Meerkat 2, which would be a past memory of it was them. Meerkat 2 rebutted, maybe we should find a way to wipe our memories or we may unintentionally impact events? At which point, Meerkat agreed that they might have already done that so he might be either earlier or later. Onlookers originally hoping to see a fight, quickly got bored by hours of conjecture between the two. In case anti-matter is a thing, they decided to stay at least 5 feet away from each other and both were carefully protected within a circle. One Meerkat stated, I haven't talked this much since that night with Randal and Ragnar. The other concurred. 23- There have been rumors of a man in a patchwork cloak traveling around selling slightly used relics. When asked for authenticity, the vendor offered merchant's honor. While charlatans are not uncommon, it seems like some of his customers actually are reporting positive outcomes. Whether these artifacts are holy relics or not they have clearly brought a great deal of change to the lives impacted. Some speculate that the merchant may be using mesmerism to fool his clients. Others think he either found a sealed tomb of artifacts or raided a temple for these treasures. A few devout numbers believe that he is a representative of the gods on a public relations mission. Prices are allegedly reasonable and products are not guaranteed. One alleged customer said that the merchant was a very good fellow. |
