IC: When the Shadowking�s Shadows in the Wilds did play Before the Heart of the Spirit World Khol did slay There was the loss of the life that was Beast-Avatar-Five That the Red Arrow Emporium did cruelly deprive A heartbroken king and the Ladies� Seer did move The wolf part of king soul they thought to remove The two wolf spirits off to the Wilds would play But Hope-Shelter-Power then ended that day When the Shadowking�s Shadows in the Wilds did play And then the Heart of the Spirit World Khol did slay But had they known of the calamity to come That would trap the souls by an act so dumb It would shatter the Bridge betwixt Kal and the Land End the Kathrani and the bond of Spirit-Hand So too would it end the Wairdo and Silence And make the Giri Mae Wavichi all quite tense When the Shadowking�s Shadows in the Wilds did play After the Heart of the Spirit World Khol did slay When the Rift between Eternity and Dissolution Gave those trapped spirits only three grim solution: Consumed by the bainen called Garrog and end Or to Smiths� hammer their Gos be forced to bend Or lastly to languish and hope for escape By Deus ex Machina or their own fate to shape The Shadowking�s Legacy to the Wilds did stay After the Heart of the Spirit World Khol did slay Many years have passed since that fateful bad act And time grows short for these spirits it�s fact If any souls be saved from Garrog or Smith, Like Avatars or Guardians or Kal Spirit kith, Make haste, do not tarry, to the Spirit-Sword�s Fall Listen, if you ever cared, don�t ignore this last Call. Or if what moves you is self-preservation Come try stop Garrog from manifestation For Taint without Kal-Bond to destroy the blight Will soul-deaths ensure � an irrecoverable smite. Risk your bodies and minds for future soul�s born, Or let Garrog souls� reave, under claw, tooth and horn. If not love or duty will move you to acts Nor truth or courage compelled by these facts Feel free to continue in your cot, keep or hovel For your aid I will not continue to grovel For you have chosen fear, sloth and hate And I leave you to claim your unfortunate fate. ----- Yo, Anonymous. Some of us have been busy raising other kinds of Life, and any spirit or flesh-bag that attempts to tack 'sloth' onto my name can have the courage to do so to my face instead of anonymously via some little list. I've got Seance', I'll keep a timer flipped. I'm with my Life's First Priority in the country of Chimeron at the moment, who are even now still re-building(again with the whole Life thing), but I can pass her into safe hands if you, Anonymous, "really want to go there" and throw down. And it hasn't been many years, because a couple is two, a few is 3 to 6, and several/many is 7+(that's why seven and several sound alike). Calm yourself. And if you can't do that and continue to accuse mortals of messing things up just by being themselves and letting Life go on, then I suggest from the Ladies' Seer that "you sit down, son, and hold my beer." You want an action? Then Rejoice, because Very Bad Things are about to happen at the Feast of Chimeron. Let's see if you're powerful enough to show up. - Iawen ----- Hey Iawen, I'm pretty sure I got the 'in a nutshell' version of the start of this from someone shortly after it happened (or started, if you prefer) but I'd love to hear a more complete and possibly different point of view if what all happened, especially the part involving my king, if you'd be willing to cover what you know. Also, Dani is hanging on me, so I'll attempt to be brief. Ardra, Cecil's mate, was killed. He walked off into the woods, did some Personal Stuff that I Am Not Privy To, and when he came out of the woods he was no longer Beast Avatar Hope Shelter Power, he was just his Majesty King Cecil. From what I can figure out from what I have gleaned and your Majesty told me to confirm: his soul is fine at the moment. However, the beast part of him, that other soul, was running with Ardra in the Spirit world/plane, and when the Northern Wildes was destroyed "somehow" those two spirits were all like BOO HOO at least we have each other, oh wait, we can't get to the Kal en Dral afterlife. ...now, why the eff they'd want the KAL afterlife, I don't know, and Cecil's not clear on that either. So, my plan was originally to work with Rua Tharr Cinn after gaining His Majesty's blessing, to either travel to the spirit world and convince the two to move on together, or if all other avenues fail then Rosetta and Rel work out how to turn the two souls into the rune for True Love or something. ...what pisses me off is that this anonymous commentator isn't a Priest or Priestess of Chronos, and isn't a god and thus can't be everywhere and every WHEN at once, so they should shut their mouths when passing judgments on those who have limitations such as Time and Life preventing them from achieving all that they want. Check in with his Majesty about it asap, though, because I am following through on my threat and should she show, I will make it rain. Rain what, I don't know yet. The basics is a spirit or a mortal is calling out the Realms for being lackadaisical concerning fixing the Northern Wildes souls, repairing the bridge to the Kal en Dral's world, and ShadowKing issues that have left a bit of Chimeron (and other peeps) in a muddle. Answers in-line below: When the Shadowking�s Shadows in the Wilds did play Before the Heart of the Spirit World Khol did slay <-- this is referring to the FSQ gathering where the late Jonas Cooke hosted a great hunt in the Northern Wildes. There was the loss of the life that was Beast-Avatar-Five <-- That is referring to Ardra, his Majesty King Alexander Cecil's mate. That the Red Arrow Emporium did cruelly deprive <-- the murderers who did it. A heartbroken king and the Ladies� Seer did move <-- That would be Cecil and myself The wolf part of king soul they thought to remove <-- And we removed the Beast Avatar part from Cecil without losing an ounce of soul (so he still has 200 blows). The two wolf spirits off to the Wilds would play <-- Ardra & Beast Cecil's spirits went off to haunt and have fun guarding the N.Wildes But Hope-Shelter-Power then ended that day <-- It's true, that part of Cecil did 'die' to be with Ardra. That has nothing to do with what happened next; it was Cecil's choice. Mostly from Mouse and Higer egging on, but also because it's a box and it rattled! ;) But had they known of the calamity to come That would trap the souls by an act so dumb <-- So, THIS is where I disagree: was the act dumb? Yes. But if you have NO warning signs of any doom, I'd pick up a toy, too. I think the wizard or ancient that created a 'mountain in the box' was just as dumb. End the Kathrani and the bond of Spirit-Hand <-- sooooooooo, while I would be quick to agree, there are current signs that point to this spirit being wrong with this line. So too would it end the Wairdo and Silence <-- This is true, it killed that circle of Munuko and it killed Tetch's granddaughter, Silence. When the Rift between Eternity and Dissolution Gave those trapped spirits only three grim solution: <-- The trapped spirits here are all the souls in the Wildes that were supposed to go to Kal, and they can't because the bridge is out. Consumed by the bainen called Garrog and end <-- With no Kal influence, this Bainen is free to do as it pleases. Or to Smiths� hammer their Gos be forced to bend <-- this is not a Bainen, but a neutral evil guy who wants the souls to power up weapons. Or lastly to languish and hope for escape By Deus ex Machina or their own fate to shape <-- So, this is where the Gray Man and Chiron reached out to me and were like WTF, we can't ferry these souls, and I suggested they be ferried somewhere else. The response was that it would take a lot of convincing, and I said, depends on who is doing the talking. And they were... impressed? by that? Or amused that I would be so cocky? Whatevs. And then I was told to get to it and gather up a lot of peeps. So, I did, but their Other Lives began stealing some of them away. If any souls be saved from Garrog or Smith, Like Avatars or Guardians or Kal Spirit kith, <-- this line calls out to the Avatars of the Beast and of Chimeron, the Guardians of the ... hmm, how to say that... basically warriors and casters alike who make sure the world doesn't go down for Entropy or something, and the Kal Spirit kith are Kathrani new and old, and Ichigiritorrennin (peeps who wanted to be Kathrani and got trials, but never completed them). Make haste, do not tarry, to the Spirit-Sword�s Fall <-- So, that I don't know. Listen, if you ever cared, don�t ignore this last Call. <-- Of course I cared, but I am hard of hearing, not to mention was drowning in Life over here.
