Stripes Lightstride

Stripes Lightstride comes from a land across the sea. He lived there in the forest of Arthan among a people very like elves. They lived long, simple lives of tending to their forest home and communing with nature. They were mostly a peaceful people, but once rallied they could be fierce warriors in the name of Arthan. Stripes served as the druid guardian to his people’s deity, an ancient tree spirit named Urbog. Upon becoming the guardian, he was assigned an animal companion. It was a squirrel he came to know simply by Stripes. It was in honor of his friend that he took the title of Stripes upon arriving in the Realms.

After his people and all he loved was wiped out by a terrible war, Stripes joined up with the Black Arrows and helped them defeat the evil army which had laid waste to his home. The Black Arrows then crossed the sea to the lands of the Realms. Stripes stayed with his friends for a short time before he saw that the path before them was not the road he was meant to travel. Setting out on his own, he was determined to find that path.

Stripes met many new friends in his travels, two of which were Cain and Gideon of Ivory. The two took in the young warrior and helped train him in the arts of war, weapon smithing, and magic. He lived within the city walls for a time and saw that the people of Ivory were people all following their own destinies, in their individual ways. He knew this was a place in which he could find his own path in his own time.

Soon Stripes joined the ranks of the City of Ivory, where he now resides.
